Ateren looked up at the convention goer and gave a light chuckle. "Convention? I rarely keep tabs on these things. Do you got a street name?" He asked the two of them. He knew what was up, but the fact that they were trying to have him drop his guard was funny considering he's kind of going quietly. He heard a rough sigh and looked over at the direction the sigh came from. He immediately raises an eyebrow. If he would've known that 'SHE' was one of the three that were talking he would've head on back.

As he listened to her babble on, he gave a light yawn. He had already put up his spyglass and rose his hands up. "So what is it then? You make it sound like you suddenly found a criminal record history of flicking people's noses with that entrance. ...Unless you're also with this cosplayer and that was a joke. In which case... yeah, it was top notch. You had me worried for a second." He said with a slight genuine smile.

I give out a light chuckle back as Mister Hethenburg puts up his hands as he gets arrested. "Sorry, but if you mean cosplay that I've been taking down some of your folks, then you're absolutely right!" I say, doing my best to taunt him. In reality, the only thing I could tell is that he had some sort of affiliation with the gang members in the coffee shop. Since one of them dropped a Nirvana card of some sorts, that has to make him connected to Nirvana.
"Besides, I'm technically not part of the Police Force, so I could operate a little differently, albeit under the law." I observe his bomber jacket and think to myself, trying to recall anything I've gotten from seeing him at the coffee shop. The only thing that truly stood out to me was the-
"By the way, Officer Ilun, would you know anything about any sort of gang symbol lately? The same way Nirvana has their symbol and such?" I say as I look at her.

Azaroa sighed then violently jerked the mans arms behind his back and cuffed him saying,
" All right I tried being polite asshole. Your under arrest for providing false information to a police investigator, obstructing justice, and unless you want to spend another eight to ten months sitting in a detainment cell as John Doe in addition to the 3 years your already looking at your going to us your name, your background, and whoever the hell your friends are."
Azaroa grabbed the small spyglass from the mans hand and said,
"And this is now property of the police. Now get your ass moving before I break your god damned kneecaps and charge you with Resisting."
At this Azaroa reached for her radio and called in a unit which as it happened was already on the way. As the patrol car pulled up and Azaroa forcibly shoved the man in and closed the door, she then turned to Dragon and responded,
" Not really, Nirvana is a conglomerate of different syndicates and organizations. All the gang signs are different though the most common thread is usually either an N insignia or a Crescent Moon, which as it happens, this fine gentlemen is sporting on the back of his jacket."

Ateren rose an eyebrow as Azaroa did her thing. "I mean, I could give you the name I used to go by. But I thought it was the law that a person can get a legal name change by simply using the new name. At least it was in the last town I lived at... also what's the three years for? And dare I ask what is all this gang stuff is or should I not because 'civilian'. And hey! Spyglasses aren't illegal contraband. It's a literal 10 dollar piece of plastic from the local store..." He said already throwing out his side of the defense. (Fun fact, in some states you can get a legal name change this way. And there are others that only require an official statement in the newspaper.)

I let out a light chuckle and walks towards a light pole, leaning against it. As Officer Ilun and Mister Hethenburg dispute, I think about how late it was getting and how I would have to get up early in the morning for class Tuesday.. Oh well, I'm sure this is more exciting anyways. It's not everyday you can be a vigilante and hang out with the cops!
I make my way back to Officer Ilun and walk with her to her vehicle. "So, call it a hunch but I feel like Mister Hethenburg will be of use later on, perhaps we could ask him to loan me that jacket of his so I could play the part as being part of a gang or so?" I say to her.

Azaroa rolled her eyes and responded,
"That's not how it works here. Give your legal name to the officers that are talking to you at the station. As for the three years that's the usual sentence for Obstruction..."
Azaroa then thumped of the vehicle twice and the patrol car pulled away. As Azaroa left along with Dragon so frowned and answered,
" I do have a feeling Mister Hethenburg or whatever his actual name is will be useful later, but I doubt grabbing his jacket would work, looks custom to him, too recognizable. No what we need I think is a fresh identity for you."
Azaroa climbed into the car and started it as Dragon followed her in. As she pulled away from the curb and started the drive to the station she commented,
" We need to head to the station and drop this SUV off for the Detectives. Then I will need to see what I can do tomorrow about this Mister Hethenburg, perhaps a night in jail will sober him up. As for you Dragon, I hope you have no obligations elsewhere, I think in days ahead we have much to do."
Azaroa wasn't particularly worried about her own school appearance. As a Police Officer she could get official leave from the place and either way she was weeks ahead of the few classes she was taking in the field of criminal justice anyways.

Ateren raised an eyebrow. He knew he was in the right. He had prepared several loopholes regarding his name. Name change loopholes that is. He also felt personally attacked, he has no issues cooperating but senses that they're acting bias regarding this gang business. He believes they'll feel silly when they noticed that he has sent notices to the local printing press about discussing a name change. However, it has not been finalized, that part being the only thing against him. But regardless of even this, it's also normal for people to use the new name in good faith and argue forward that it was ill-timing and at worst he'll receive a night in jail. He severely doubts he'll even need to involve a lawyer, and if he does it won't escalate to court by any means. Best of all, his background check should come up clear since he did recently move into town and would have 'ZERO' influence. At least, any evidence of it.

Truth be told, he moved into the town because of the Moonlit Gang. He liked the cult aspect and joined under specific conditions. He sits in the back of the patrol car feeling pretty secure. He also patiently waits for the car to stop at the location and yada-yada. Best of all, since he can handle this himself, his gang doesn't have to know about it. He wonders if the 'charges' will stay on record after they are removed.

I rub the back of my neck as we drive and think about all the days I may be missing soon enough.
"I-I mean, not in particular, save for school hours. Unless there's something in the law saying I can miss a few days since I'm helping the police? And if that's so, I'll need Tsuki to help me. It's a partnership, ya know? I can't do much without his information and tips. Not that the force cannot do it, but I feel a more personal connection to him. He's like my 'guy in the chair.'" I say with a quiet laugh. Gosh I hope I'm not took awkward.
"But other than that, I do not have anything planned besides trying to help this case out the best I can. Now, how do you suggest that I make a name or identify for myself? I could mention previous operations I took down, but I think that might upset a few gangs if they're allies with them."

Azaroa looked to Dragon and sighed replying,
" So you're still in school as well. Easily remedied, though you will need to get quite a bit of paperwork done. Given your already poised to join a deep cover operation from the Commissioner himself, I think we can get you clearance to get yourself out. As for Tsuki, we will have to do the same. If you really need him, you'll have to send him in tomorrow so we can brief him. It's likely he won't be directly involved in the operation, but I never say no to someone who keeps an eye on things. Though having met Tsuki I do have say he may not really be up to the task of a deep cover police operation..."
Azaroa paused here as she pulled up to the police station. She got out and greeted a squad of detectives already waiting there before beginning the walk into the station with Dragon. She then said,
" As for your new identity, I was going to say being Dragon means trouble. Vigilantes aren't exactly welcome. I think we need to ask the commissioner about that, or maybe the gang activities detectives, they may have something you can work with. Other then that, I think that's all for tonight. I imagine the Commissioner will want us to report in as soon as possible tomorrow morning so we can be briefed."
