I look to the Pegasus, wondering who he was asking. The bat, Lunas, seemed to be quick to respond. I debated on if I should answer, and eventually decided it wouldn't hurt too much.
"Yuugata," I said. "Call me Yuu." After a short pause, I awaited if he would reply with his name. During such, I stood up as well and stretched, trying to shake off the groggy feeling. I wasn't going to get any more sleep until tonight.

He nods to both of them. "The name's Ateren. But my friends call me Atty." he said giving a light chuckle while rubbing the back of his neck. "You take care then, Lunas." He said giving a light good-bye salute. Now he was curious as to what Yuu was going to do.

What a Mystery

I watched as Lunas walked away. He was kind... I felt bad for being so mean to him. I awkwardly looked around after he left, unsure what to really do with myself.
"I.. guess I could switch into a more casual outfit," I said to myself. I looked to the Pegasus, then - Ateren. "I think I'm gonna go change. I might come back." I spoke in a rather neutral tone. I barely knew the guy - would I be willing to spend my day off with him? I dunno. Regardless, I turned around and started heading back to my apartment, placing my left hand in my hoodie pocket and bringing one hand up as a form of waving goodbye as I walked away.

Once a bit further down the road, I put my other hand in my pocket and quietly returned home, thinking of the encounter I had. It was odd seeing others so nice to someone so terse and mean to them without being paid for it. I tried shrugging it off, but just... couldn't. I inserted my key into the door to unlock it, then opened the door and promptly removed the key. Walking into the apartment, it was rather simple - To the slight left was the living room, consisting of a simple cream three seat couch with a tan coffee table in front of it. Adjacent to the couch was a short cream chair that matched the design of the couch. At the corner of the room was a twenty-six inch flatscreen television that I inherited from my family when I moved out. To the slight right was my dining room - a simple tan table surrounded by chairs to match the table.

There was a short wall separating the dining room from the kitchen, which was just your ordinary apartment setup. Down the hallway just next to the short wall was the way to my bedroom. I went down the hall after locking the front door. Inside my room was simple as well - a simple bed with a window above it, a chocolate wardrobe closet to its left (to the right from the view of the doorway) and an end table on the other side with an alarm clock and a lamp on it. The end table was also chocolate, and had a single drawer that was closed.

I promptly stripped down to my undergarments and opened up the wardrobe, showing all my outfits on hangers, and a built in basket at the bottom with a shoe shelf under it. I dropped my hoodie, tank top, black crew socks, and skinny jeans into the basket and put my black combat boots in the shelf. Afterward, I pulled off a hanger with a black skirt and white t-shirt with a simple black crescent moon stencil on the front. I slipped the shirt , followed by my skirt. I opened a drawer on the side and pulled out a pair of black thigh highs, and slid them on as well after closing the drawer. Once done, I pulled my default coloured high top Converse from the shelf it shared with my combat boots. I slipped them on, and tied the laces fairly quickly. I then closed the wardrobe and looked out the window. Being on the second floor in the apartment, I was able to get a decent view.

"Should I go back? I thought. After a moment of debate, I decided I had nothing else to lose. I decided to go to the drawer on the end table and open it up, showing a black leg strap with a knife harness that was accompanied with a black combat knife, a black brass knuckle pocket knife, and a black Tokrev, all strapped down with Velcro. I unstrapped the leg strap and took it out, closing the drawer afterward and strapping the knife sheath to my left leg. Better to be safe than sorry. After picking up a black hair tie I then went back out, locking the door behind me. As I walked back to the park, I put my hair up into a ponytail, save for my fringe which I let stay drooping over my left eye. As I arrived back at the park, I looked around to see if the Pegasus was still there.

Ateren waved back to the fox as she left the park. He didn't quite say a good-bye as he was in deep thought over the most recent encounter. He gave a great sigh and held it to her word that she'd be back. He look a look around the park and noticed how relatively empty it felt. This disturbed him and he simply sat down up against the tree. He dug into his pocket and took out a strip of spearmint flavored gum. He unwrapped the piece and looked around for a trashcan. He had just sat down too and did not want to get up. So he simply jammed the trash into is coat to throw away later. He knew in the back of his mind though that he'd forget to empty it out again and cause a mess in the wash. Then he ramped up the music on his Walkman and tried to get comfortable.

Over time he got too comfortable and began to get quite tired. Problem is that Yuu will be back any time soon and he didn't want to miss her return. Not to mention he's got gum in his mouth and heaven help anyone who try to sleep with gum in their mouth. He might have tried once when he was little, but that was then, this was now. He then remembered he still had the paper. Who knew laziness paid off? He took it out and unwrapped it, placed his wad of gum in it and then saved it for later... or at least throw it away later. Besides, he felt it would be impolite to chew gum during a conversation. Especially with a conversation with a stranger.

His music began to deafen as he just wanted to rest his head on his knee for just a bit... fifteen minutes wouldn't hurt. He turned his music off and attempted to get a power nap in. To anyone else who sees him though, he'd look like he was just sitting down with his arms wrapped around his leg. His green tinted sunglasses prevented anyone from a good distance away from noticing his eyes being closed. Granted, any sudden noise or movements would probably snap him awake.

I yawn, my tongue curling in front of me as I get home and unzip my hoodie again. It's cold in there, I prefer to keep the temperature low even during the wintertime. There's a few dishes in the sink but not so many that I'd take the time to do them yet. There's some laundry but I feel I can just do that later. The TV is off, I stopped paying for it to save money for other things, so the place is pretty quiet even when I'm around. I don't get many visitors, and don't do much myself so the place is surprisingly clean even though I never really take the time to tidy up. My computer is running, I forgot to turn it off. I poke the mouse, look at the screen, taking a minute to check any notifications I might have. There's nothing.

I sets my wallet down on the desk and change out of my current clothes into loose-fitting pajama pants. There is no reason to be dressed to impress when nobody is around.
I haven't eaten anything since before I left and grab a light, fast snack before essentially passing out sitting down on the couch, hoodie zipped up, hood tightened so it covers my eyes.

After a short moment of looking, I was able to find the Pegasus sitting at the tree he was at when I left. He looked to be cradling his leg. I wonder what happened...
"Hey," I said as I walked up. "I'm back. You okay?" I tapped his leg with my left foot a couple times to see if he was awake or alive.

A soft breeze rolled by as the day began. Birds were waking up by this time, and began chirping as they do every day. It's moderately cloudy, but they're puffy and dark. It was a fair temperature out, where you could either go out in a hoodie or a t-shirt and be fine. The sun warmed my fur as I awaited the Pegasus to respond. It felt nice.

As it is before sleep for Ateren, his mind reels in a lot of the previous events and swiftly shifted into a daydream. The music he was listening to, although off, was still ringing into his mind as he was imagining himself into certain scenarios and wondered if he couldn't played out the most recent encounter differently. Maybe introduced himself first. He slowly began to not care as sleep beckoned further. He simply occupied his mind with something more comfortable, his other senses dulling. He always wanted to be a hero. Combat the many things in the world and right many wrongs.

He was just about to redo his favorite daydream scenario about stopping some mad man from jailing up the entire world before he felt something hit his leg. He jolted up, his sunglasses becoming askew from the immediate motion. "I-I didn't mean to... uh..." He took off his sunglasses and rubbed his eyes and looked at the sign of the disturbance. He must have dozed off. Ateren's deep green eyes looked up at Yuu and it took his mind a few moments to kick back into gear. "Oh! You're back. I uh... I kind of drifted off there for a moment." He said before nervously chuckling.

I raised an eyebrow as Ateren gazed up to me with his luminous, deep green eyes. He looked fairly innocent without those sunglasses on.
"Cute eye colour," I commented, before offering a paw to help him up. "What should we do today? I haven't got anything planned." I was still in slight disbelief that I even came back. I barely even knew this guy, and yet I'm spending my time with him when I could be doing plenty of other things, like... like.... hm.

A bit of red forms around his cheeks as he heard her comment. He tries his best not to get too flustered, yet fails regardless. "I-I... thanks." He said taking her paw and hoisting himself up with her help. He fidgets a bit with his mane shortly after. Almost acts like he had never gotten a compliment before. "Well, morning has come and gone. So we could always get that sno-cone. Or actually get some lunch... that might be a better idea." He said rubbing his chin in thought. He pockets his sunglasses though. It's a bit of a mystery why he'd wear them. It's not that bright outside, it was moderately cloudy outside. It's almost as if he hides behind them.
