[Fantasy/Gore] Rift Between Realms

Lunas is only passing by when he spots something at a distance. Something wierd. Hands in his pockets, the majority of the time he ignores anything out of the ordinary, it's just something he doesn't need to get involved in.
But whatever was going on here was wierd in more than one way, he decides to take a vicarious look from a safe way's away, down the street. What he sees is an alleyway that looks like someone tried to paint in it, some people appear to be over there too.
What first looks like some modern art quickly turns out to be... well, not that. Lunas can't really tell, even with the night lit up in the city.

What a Mystery

It happened all so fast, faster than my training as ever taught me. Within seconds, my own barrel was pointed at me only to be handed back to me, stated that my life was just saved. I grunt steadily and grab my gun from her slowly. I begin wondering what I can do to take her down, but atlas to no avail. I holster my gun and begin studying her as much as I can. Caucasian, mid 20's, tall, pale. "I'm going to take a wild guess into the unknown and guess that the guy that exploded wasn't a suicide bomber." I try to keep my eyes on her while sensing my surroundings.  "Damn, I guess I have to let her go for tonight. There was something strange, though, I felt her aura before." That's when I realized that I've been feeling her heat ever since the first explosion. She must be the one either causing or stopping the explosions before it's too late. either way, there was no way in hell I was going to let her off easily. I'll make sure of that much.
I will write my legacy with this pen and paper.

I shook my head to the stranger's question.
"No," I said simply.  "This is far worse than your tiny human problems."  With that, I suddenly looked to the left, before bolting off in that direction.  There was a bunch ahead... three blocks?  Four blocks?  I'd be stupid to wonder why they're so closely packed, especially considering I see the same as them...

Upon reaching the new area, I saw five humans - four male and one female - each with some sort of weapon, may it be a simple club, lead bat, or a piece of wood with nails in it.  One stepped forward.
"You know,"  He said, his tone didn't match his body at all, meaning he was about ready to burst.  "It's really nice up here, in the overworld."  He tapped the bat on his other hand a couple times, attempting to sound menacing.  "We're not going to let you take that away from us!"  He then ran at me, screaming and holding the bat at ready.  I merely held my palm out to him, and a much louder dry burning sound took effect as my entire arm was covered in the black substance, it extending and hitting the man hard in the chest and winding him.
"You may not be able to send back as a human," I said coldly, my eyes full of pure apathy.  "But I can make you wish you never came up here, you filthy D-Class scum."  I then picked him up with my arm extension.  The four others ran at me, only to be swatted away by their leader via my arm extension.  "None of you stand any chance against me."  I smirked in a dark, twisted and demented way as my eyes began glowing.  Shortly after, the heat in my arm and extension began heating up exponentially, causing the man to start screaming as a soft sizzle came from his skin.

The others appeared frightened, and attempted to run away, but all the males burst before they could get out of the back road.  I absorbed some of the mass amounts of heat expulsion, causing my eyes to glow brighter.  A dark giggle escaped my lungs as electricity began bolting down my arm toward my victim.  His screams grew louder as he was electrocuted.  The three now clouds of fog rushed toward me, only to be suddenly stopped as I brought my other arm out.  At the end of my sleeve, more black matter came out in the shape of a blade, impaling one of the clouds of fog.  It wasn't cut in half, though.  Instead, it slowly faded away, as though being sucked into my arm.  My giggle turned into mild laughter as the electricity and heat became greater.  I held the victim higher as the electricity grew thicker, so it wouldn't contact the ground.  The other clouds of fog slowly faded away, slowly being absorbed into me as I punished my victim.  The ground started rumbling as his screams grew louder.  Electricity was visibly bouncing off his skin at this point.  After a moment, my eyes lost all colour, and the heat and electricity stopped.  The victim's screams, though, did not.  They only grew exponentially louder before suddenly fading out, the body falling limp on my arm extension.  The rumbling grew to a stop as my eyes got their colour back, not glowing any longer.  The black retracted back into my arm with the dry sizzle we've heard so much, and the body fell to the floor, lifeless and horribly burned.

"Next time I decide to move into the city. I'm buying ear plugs..." He said as he covered his ears, hearing lots of odd sounds roughly three blocks away. "Let's look at the bright side! I'll have plenty of people asking for me to do repairs. It's my job anyways..." He said groaning and pulling the hat of his down to the point where it covers his eyes and ears. "At least it's going away I think. I'm glad whatever is happening isn't happening to me. I mean, good grief..." he could hear movement outside his door. "Whelp! I'm not the only one up then."

He hears a knock on the door and he gets up and shuffles to the door groggily. He opens the door and a burly guy in a hotel uniform stands before him. He's blonde with hazel eyes and somewhat stout. "Is everything alright here?" He asked him.
"Well, as much as I want to make a smart aleck comment about the situation and the lack of sleep. Yeah, I'm alright."
The guy gave a firm nod. "Well this is Hotel security. We're evacuating everyone for the night to the IPD due to the disturbance in the area."
Ateren's expression quickly deflated as he internally screamed. "Swell... I love sleeping at the precinct." He was also ordered to grab whatever valuables necessary for the night. He comes back out with normal clothes, overcoat with a white undershirt and blue jeans. On his back is what looks to be a large sledgehammer.
"Uh, sir?" The guy said pointing to the weapon on his back.
"I work as a repairman and builder around here. I use this at work. More than likely I'll be returning to help fix this place up later."
This was enough to give him a pass. But Ateren knew how to use it as a weapon for sure. He then follows along with the crowd with the evacuation procedures.

From that distance Lunas doesn't know exactly what it was he just saw. Or what just happened. He doesn't want to get any more involved or any closer to whatever just went down than he absolutely has to... and to be honest, he absolutely doesn't have to at all. He keeps walking further down the street. It's in the direction that lady ran but he figures he'll just steer clear of any of that if any of the people there try to ask him anything.

I take a brief moment to absorb what happened then sigh. "Great, so now I have to deal with paranormal shit. I didn't sign up for this part at all." Just as I was about to go, more explosions. I guess she has her own accord too. I get back into my Hummer, now without windows or a windshield, and start heading down the direction I saw her take. By the time I got there, I saw her again, but this time in a more, shall I say, fucked up manner. Not only was there blood again, but this time there was a burnt body too. I can't say that this would be a pleasant run in. I get out the car, knowing that it was inevitable that she heard me but this time took my GRM and held it by my hip, and stayed a bit away. I spoke in a normal, yet fearless tone. "So I take it that you try to stop the explosions before they happen? I mean, I can see you dealt with it at least once with that burned body right there." This was going to be fun.

My expression slowly faded back to its absent emptiness shortly after I dropped the body. I stared at it for a moment as the area around grew cold. Doing what I did... I'm going to get nowhere very fast. Just then, I heard that damn car show up again. Him again. I turned to face him, and froze when I saw what he was holding. None of his words registered for me. Reflexively, a dry burning sound grew exponentially as my weapon emerged from my hand. I spun it around and went into a defensive position, holding the weapon behind me and at ready to swing with an arm in front of me.
"What the fuck is that?" I asked in a harsh, cold tone. My eyes glowed faintly of red as I had my centre of focus was set on that object.

Once everyone go outside, they started getting up and arms about all their vehicles being broken into. At least, that's what they thought of since the windows were destroyed. Ateren was thankful he didn't have one and always took the bus. Ateren did take note that it was unusually hot. The staff had then did their best to load everyone onto a bus to be transported. The hotel security guy from early stopped Ateren and a very select few were stopped. "The bus is full. I'll have to... hehehe, take you four myself."

Ateren rose an eyebrow at the breathy laugh. "You okay dude?" He said with light concern. The hotel security man ignored his question and watched as the bus drove to the precinct. Ateren felt sick...

Lunas continues his march down the street and finds himself at /another/ scene. This one sort of snuck up on him, he's way too close to this lady and the same guy he saw earlier for comfort. There's a burned body, a guy holding something that Lunas doesn't care to pay attention to... exactly like he planned, he whispers
"Yep, am not having any of this shit tonight."
And turns around about to leave.

I finally found it within her eyes, fear. I was overjoyed to finally see that within her eyes. In fact, I almost forgot about the stench from the blood and the brunt body as well as the civilian walking past, though those things didn't matter, she did. Something about this gun actually scares her. Although, since she saved me, I owe her at least the truth. I shrug and simply say, "Beats me, it was given to me by my government in case of, strange activity, which works in this case. Although.." I smirk at her and rests my shoulders, although having my guard up. "I'm not going to use it on you. I may be a trained military specialist, but I know damn well when to fight someone and when to make a more wise decision. I simply want a few questions and repay you for saving me."
